Comfort Salve / Comfrey Salve

Comfrey is a commonly used herbal medicine with a long and proven history in the treatment of various complaints.  Comfrey contains a substance called 'allantoin', a cell proliferate that speeds up the healing process.
 
It's also used in alternative medicine for the following problems:
 
Bruises
Gout (a form of arthritis)
Rheumatoid arthritis
Wounds
Pain and sores
Inflammation and swelling of muscles
Strains and sprains after sports injuries and accidents
Acute myalgia in the back
 
Comfrey is especially useful in the external treatment of cuts, eczema, varicose veins, broken bones etc.  This salve is used from the dried comfrey leaves and infused in the oil.
 
NEVER use comfrey on broken skin and not recommended for children under 3 years old, elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding. It is recommended not to use longer than 10 days at a time and no more than 4 to 6 total weeks in one calendar year.  DO NOT use comfrey if you have liver disease, alcoholism, or cancer. 
 
Ingredients: Comfrey, beeswax, olive oil.
